Where did the Summer Go
08/17/2008
Sorry to all of our fans for not keeping up with the website like I had planned but you must admit I am doing better than last year.
On to the racing update, what an exciting night last night was. The full moon rising and the sprint cars in town. It made for an interesting night.
Brian was in the second heat and after a few laps found himself in he lead but Roger Lee was hot on his trail after a long side by side battle, Roger got past Brian on the last lap, leaving Brian with 2nd place.
Then on to the feature. Brian started front row for the feature and jumped to an early lead which he held for the first half of the race, but Sorce was on a mission and passed him at the half-way point. Two laps later, caution flew for Roger Lee in turn 2. Don't know what happened but the front of Roger's car did not look pretty but he stayed out on the track any ways. Back to green lap racing and Sorce was still in the lead but Brian was running a strong second. Four laps to go and Sorce lost a tire and had to pull off the track. Brian was once again in the lead, but the rest of the field was right behind him. Two laps to go and Will Schumacher was right there letting Brian know he wanted the win just as bad. One lap to go, Brian still holding on to first place. Out of turn two the car drifted a little high and both cars raced down the back stretch side by side. Out of turn 4 and to the checkered flag, Schumacher by half a car length.
The results could have been better, but it was a well ran race and the driver had lots of fun, and isn't that what it is all about?.

Good-bye to Our #1 Fan

It is with great sadness that I inform our friends that Brian's mom, Kay Gerber passed away this past Wednesday night. The funeral service will be on Saturday, June 28th. I will post more information as arrangements are made. Please keep Brian and all of his family in your thoughts and prayers. She had always been the loudest voice in the stands and will be dearly missed.
Tick-tock! Tick-tock!

The snow is finally melting. The engine work is getting completed and Dean and Brian have started to discuss paint options.
It is not too late to sign on for sponsorship in 2008. If interested, drop us a line and we would be happy to discuss the options available.

2008 Racing Season... Coming Soon!!

With all this snow and winter weather it is hard to believe that our first practice is only 6 weeks away.
Brian has been busy in the garage this season. I promise to do a better job at keeping the website up-to-date with a weekly post.
Also, in addtion to Brian racing, Rj will be starting his racing career with his first go-kart, pictures to come.
